At St. Thomas Lutheran Early Childhood Center, we are committed to providing a distinctive Christian education. Our primary purpose is to be a help to our parents as we work together to develop Christ-like attitudes, habits, and skills in the students which are essential to becoming a Christian example to those around them. We could not accomplish this without the help of our Lord and the skill and dedication of our staff.
St. Thomas Lutheran Early Childhood Center is licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and Meets or Exceeds Standards.

Our school year mirrors that of the Rocky River City School District.
Walk along side families to encourage a love of learning while sharing the love of Jesus.
3 John:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
Love Learning~Love Jesus
We know that children learn through play. We provide opportunities daily for each child to stretch and grow spiritually, physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially through the work of play. Together God can use us to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6.
The philosophy of our school includes the following intentions:
Your child’s education is a cooperative effort between the home and the school. Therefore, we invite you to help us in making the early educational experiences of your child more effective as, together, we try to understand and help him/her grow and develop in happy, healthy ways. We trust that these experiences may be as delightful to you as we hope to make them for your child.
"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."
