St. Thomas Lutheran Church | Lutheran Women's Missionary League

WOMEN'S MISSIONARY  LEAGUE - LWML

The St Thomas LWML is an organization formed for the purpose of serving Christ in the church, the community and the world wherever there is need. During the year our goal is realized in the following projects:

      • SEMINARY STUDENT ASSISTANCE
      • MITE BOXES
      • CLOTHING & BLANKETS FOR THE NEEDY
      • CHRISTMAS GLOVE, SCARF, HAT TREE
      • DINNERS FOR THE HOMELESS

All women who are members of St Thomas are encouraged to be active members of the LWML. We usually meet once a month. One of our missions is to assist each woman of the LCMS in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people in her community and beyond.

Our famous "mite" box is a tangible way for women to use their monetary gifts for ministry to the world. These mites are used for mission service of all kinds to our brothers and sisters both within and beyond the boundaries of our faith.

Be sure to check the LWML bulletin board in the hallway for new LWML postings and for
information on new changes for the 2017-18 year.
 Be involved!

Welcome

Our mission at St. Thomas is to build the community spiritually by spreading the Gospel truth of Jesus' love. We proclaim one message -- the message of forgiveness, peace and hope that is only found at the foot of the cross. >>
