THE ALTAR GUILD
The purpose of the Altar Guild is to prepare the church altar for worship services. Our primary duties include cleaning the altar area, the care and keeping of the altar paraments, and preparation of the elements for Holy Communion. We work closely with Pastor to coordinate with the church calendar. Meetings are two to three times per year. Any and all are invited to join.
To place Altar Flowers
The cost of placing flowers on the altar is $26 per arrangement. Availability is for two arrangements per Sunday. A sign up sheet is located on the bulletin board in the hallway. Checks must be made out to St Thomas Lutheran Church and placed in an envelope marked Altar Flowers and then put in the church secretary's cubby hole located in the room across from the church office.
