St. Thomas Lutheran Church | Music Program

"Next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise."

MUSIC PROGRAM

In keeping with Luther's quote above, St Thomas places a high value on worship music.  We would like you to be a part of it.  Please consider one or both of the following ways.

CHORAL

The "Small Group" or Chancel Choir is made up of those who are able to read music and enjoy a broad spectrum of styles from moderately contemporary to liturgical.

Practice of choral pieces are on the second and fourth Sundays immediately following the second service. If the Lord has blessed you with the talent of singing, please consider joining us.

HANDBELLS

The Handbell Choir is currently taking a hiatus.  The choir is still looking for a few more members, so if you are musically inclined but not necessarily in the voice sector, consider glorifying God with handbells.  You do not need to know how to play handbells already, the learning process is easy.  Please consider being part of the group.

If you are interested, please contact the church office for further information.

Welcome

We have been called "old school" and also "connected to today".  Our core content is as old as the words of the Bible.  The topics are as contemporary as today's headlines.  We look to ageless wisdom to guide in wisdom for this age. >>
